Biography

Erika Diaz is a bilingual paralegal at Terenzini & Lucero, with over ten years of experience in family law. Prior to this role, she spent more than five years working as a legal assistant at Bours & Lucero.

Erika’s legal studies began in her native El Salvador, where she studied law for three years at the University of El Salvador. She immigrated to the United States over 20 years ago, where she married and had three wonderful children. Her eldest daughter graduated from Loyola University in Baltimore, her son is currently attending Towson University, and her youngest child will start college this fall.

Driven by her passion for helping others in the legal field and her desire for continuous self-improvement, Erika pursued further academic training with a legal focus in the United States. In 2017, she earned her Paralegal Certificate from Montgomery College and is currently working toward her bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Erika loves animals and has two dogs: Lily, an eight-year-old Shih Tzu, and Bonnie, a three-month-old Pinscher. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting and knitting, going for walks with her husband, spending time with her children, and taking her dogs for strolls.
