Biography
A trained litigator, mediator, negotiator and collaborative law practitioner, Ms. Terenzini is experienced in all facets of family law. Her practice includes assisting clients to reach resolution in matters related to divorce, property distribution, business valuation, alimony, and retirement asset division. She also represents fathers, mothers, children and other involved relatives in custody, visitation, access, child support and paternity proceedings. In addition, Ms. Terenzini’s experience includes litigation and administration of adult guardianship cases, as well as administration of estates and trusts.
Ms. Terenzini has repeatedly been named by Maryland Super Lawyers publications as a “Super Lawyer” in family law. She also has twice received the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland’s President’s Award for Outstanding Member.
Ms. Terenzini served on the executive boards of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (Maryland Chapter) and the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland Inc. She also served as co-chair of the Judicial Selections Committee of the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland and is a member of the family law sections of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Montgomery County. Ms. Terenzini volunteers her time at the Montgomery County Bar Foundation’s Pro Bono Legal Advice Clinics.
Ms. Terenzini holds a bachelor’s degree in English and philosophy, cum laude, from Heidelberg University in Ohio, and a master’s degree in English from the University of Rochester. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she served as editor of the Notes and Comments section of the Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class.
